In this workshop, we will explore the classic fine art printing processes, such as albumen printing and show how to create fine art prints in a “hybrid” process via the creation of a digital negative.
In this workshop, you will learn how to transform your digital photo into a digital negative suitable for the respective fine art printing process; which types of paper are best suited for these processes; how to test the papers for the processes; how to determine the correct exposure time; how to expose the final image and which toners are suitable. You’ll be able to take home your own prints at the end.
In small groups, we will take an in-depth look at the fine art printing processes and give you a comprehensive overview of the techniques.
